The Kitchen

Adjacent to the basement doorway is the kitchen with hand-hewn cedar beams, ceiling fan and mini-split. AllĀ  updated with custom cabinetry in glazed ivory, porcelain tile flooring and granite counter tops. Notice the intricate design of the tile flooring. Each and every tile required a cut to complete the design. The dining table and four chairs stay as do all the appliances, refrigerator, propane stove, dishwasher and microwave, if wanted.
At the far end of the kitchen to the left is a large walk-in pantry. Beyond the door next to the pantry is a storage room with a large chest freezer (also stays) and a standing cabinet. There is a washer and dryer connection here as well. There is also a small, unobtrusive pet door as well as a back door leading to an open, outside deer-watching deck. The home has a total of five doors leading to the outside.
Notice the hidden, double kitchen waste receptacles accessible from either side of the counter. Lots of cabinet storage as well as easy-glide drawers and two side sliders next to the waste bins.
The counter tops are bull-nosed black granite with beige, grey and brown flecks. You will be challenged to find a seam. The walk-in pantry has three walls of shelves inside for food storage as well as a rack on the inside of the door. There is an extra pantry adjacent to the refrigerator and stove. The freezer/fridge has an ice maker in the door and stands next to a tall slider cabinet perfect for coffee, tea, spices, etc. All appliances are dent and scratch free stainless steel.
