The Living Room

Entering the house the door to the basement stairs and doorway into the kitchen are to the right. The hallway is straight ahead. Much of the furniture stays, including several pieces of hanging art, if the new owner cares to keep it. The large, 3’x5’ farm scene painting hanging between the two recliners will remain.
A huge vaulted ceiling rises above the entry allowing for a 14’ high back wall, ideal for displaying art and décor, a feature not found in most all wood interior walls in log homes. Four, hand hewn Eastern Red Cedar logs span the width of the living room as well as the kitchen.  There is a cathedral glass window high above the wood stove and a mini-split.
The wood burning stove is currently connected to propane but can easily be converted back to wood burning by disconnecting the propane and reconnecting stove pipe to the outside chimney.
The living room area is roughly 15’x25’ and plenty large enough to add a reading corner or breakfast nook. The end tables and sofa as well as a large TV and the table below the TV will stay with the home if wanted. The floor is red oak hardwood flooring.
